2007 MTCBA Masters
We would like to congratulate Mike Colby for winning his 1st Masters Title on a very tough condition. Mike averaged 203.46 for the 5 games of qualifying and 8 games in the finals. Mike was in 3rd place after 4 games, when there were 4 bowlers within 64 pins. Mike bowled games of 193,205,223 and 215 in his last 4 games winning all 4 matches to go on to his 1st Masters Title.
Also finishing strong was Mark Talmadge, bowling games of 212 and 233 in his last 2 matches to move from 6th to 2nd.
We know that 2nd is a big spot in case Mike is unable to make it to the USBC Masters, Mark would get that spot.
High Qualifier was Phil Karwoski, who bowled a fantastic 1158 for 5 games qualifying and finishing in 3rd place.
There were 21 entries and the cut score was 932. Also a note of interest, Carlo Sotiropoulos picked up the 7-10 split in qualifying.
